For continuous submersion performance and stability of liquid measurement and level control in clean and waste water environments, the LMP307 is an excellent choice. This submersible pressure transducer offers long term stability, excellent thermal behavior, and accuracy of 0.35% with a 0.1% option.  Features include: pressure range of 0bar to 25bar, stainless steel housing, a flush stainless steel diaphragm, and FKM seal with optional ATEX and SIL2 approvals. A modular construction allows for different combinations of process connections, outputs and electrical connections available upon request.

Application Examples

I would like to monitor the level of a freshwater tank (0-10ftH2O) and only have inputs on our PLC for 4-20mA. Can you suggest a product.

For this application we would use our LMP307 Submersible Level Sensor. It can configured to output a 4-20mA signal at a level of 0-10ftH2O. Since the application is freshwater the LMP307 will have all compatible wetted materials.

 

We use stilling wells to measure the level of water for our cooling tower. The wells are 20 feet deep and sometimes run dry. Our current sensor is not accurate as the level of the water is below a few inches. Can we use one of your sensors to fix the accuracy issue.

Yes, definitely! Our LMP307 will have an accuracy of 0.35% full scale so if the sensor is configured for 0 - 20 ftH2O then you can expect to see an accuracy of less than 1 inch of water so you will be well ahead of the current sensor.
